I have to admit the snow was vexing, to say the least.

I apologize for not posting as regularly as I was.  I had to slow down a little.  Other work got ahead of this, but I've been catching up here and there.  It will continue on and hopefully the pace will pick up again.

This is the first of these alley pictures done with oil paint.  I haven't used oils for
a long time.  It just wasn't right for me.  The immediacy of acrylic and
gouache have always worked best.   But, time and curiosity wore me down.
I think I finally found the patience for it and plan to use them more!

I added an extender to the ink for a little more working time.  Even with it, the
water based inks dry too fast for me.  This one was interesting enough to keep.
I think my next attempts at prints like this may be with solvent based ink.
